Peer Review Process

The Journal of Social Science, Arts and Society will implement a series of review processes in accordance with the applicable provisions as follows:

1.      Manuscripts submitted through OJS will undergo an editorial review, focusing on the alignment of the scope and format with the journal’s template.

2.      If the manuscript does not meet the required standards and guidelines, it will not be forwarded to reviewers. However, if the manuscript complies with the guidelines and template, it will be sent to reviewers.

3.      After the selection process, the manuscript will be reviewed by reviewers through a double-blind review process, meaning the authors will not know the identities of the reviewers, and vice versa.

4.      The review process will consider aspects such as novelty, objectivity, methodology, research results, conclusions, and references.

5.      After the review, manuscripts requiring revisions will be provided with revision suggestions. If the manuscript is deemed unfit for publication, it will be returned to the author. However, if the manuscript is deemed suitable, the reviewer will provide a recommendation to the journal management to proceed with publication.

6.      The manuscript will be checked for similarity or plagiarism, which must not exceed 25%.

 

Peer Review Process

Journal of Social Science, Arts and Society akan melaksanakan serangkaian proses peninjauan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku sebagai berikut:

1.      Naskah yang diajukan melalui OJS akan melalui proses peninjauan oleh editor, dengan fokus pada kesesuaian ruang lingkup dan format sesuai dengan template jurnal.

2.      Jika naskah tidak memenuhi ketentuan dan standar, maka naskah tidak akan diteruskan ke reviewer. Namun, jika naskah sesuai dengan ketentuan dan template, maka naskah akan diteruskan ke reviewer.

3.      Setelah seleksi, naskah akan ditinjau oleh reviewer melalui proses double blind review. Artinya penulis tidak mengetahui identitas reviewer dan begitu juga sebaliknya.

4.      Proses review akan mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek seperti kebaruan, objektivitas, metode, hasil penelitian, kesimpulan, dan referensi.

5.      Setelah review, naskah yang memerlukan perbaikan akan diberikan saran revisi. Jika naskah dianggap tidak layak untuk diterbitkan, maka akan dikembalikan kepada penulis. Namun, jika naskah dinyatakan layak, reviewer akan memberikan rekomendasi kepada pengelola jurnal untuk melanjutkan ke proses penerbitan.

6.      Naskah akan diperiksa untuk tingkat kesamaan atau plagiarisme, yang tidak boleh melebihi 25%.
